CENTRAL FIELD TRIAL CLUB
About the Club
The first field trial in South Africa was held on the 3rd August 1908 upon the Vereeniging Estate with competitors all dressed in the fashion of the times, with jacket, waistcoat, tie and leather leggings. Field trials have evolved since 1908 but mans desire to find the best hunting companion will always remain the same. The hunting dog is without a doubt the oldest friend and helper to the human race. A friendship as old as the hills, that has deepened with ages.
Central Field Trial Club (CFTC) is the youngest member to the National Field Trial Association.
